I sell decals. Got a letter today stating that I sold a VW decal. Even has a little picture of the decal in the letter. Problem is we did not sell the one pictured nor did we sell any other. We did have one on our site but there were no takers. It has since been taken down. They did not give specifics about the purchase they just stated you have sold them and they want all purchaser info and records of sales for last 5 years and 25% of gross sale. No documentation nothing just an accusation and a picture of something we did not sell.
I tossed it off to my attorney - not sure if I will even respond for a $4.00 sticker I did not sell.

If you want further information you can go to chillingeffects.org and also contact the Electronic Frontier Foundation. Basically you are just getting scare tactics and you have nothing to worry about. No company is going to sue you or take you to court for one little sticker. The law firm uses scare tactics to try to get individuals or companies to succumb to their wishes because they in turn get a monetary reward from Volkswagen. If you want you can completely ignore their threats and emails and they will finally go find other fresh meat. The sad thing is they actually do get some to comply with their demands. Ignore them and they will go away. Tell them to bark up an other tree.
